Jewelry box with 3D-printed metallic details

This jewelry box was made as a Christmas present. The wooden box was bought, soft felt was added into the trays, a mirror was glued into the inside of the lid of the box, and 3D-printed decorative parts were added as feet and corner pieces of the box.

Little robot with heart!

This cute little robot by Pablo Ferro is called Mark II. The parts were printed in PLA, but I changed the original centre symbol to a heart. This made a perfect little Xmas gift for my nephews little son.

3D printed spirograph

I found this great little Spirograph on Thingiverse. The parts of the Spirograph were printed in PLA of different colors. I made a wooden box painted in clear lacquer and dressed in sewn cloth material. Two small magnets glued into the wood parts, hold the box closed. The whole thing made a perfect little Xmas gift for my nephews little daughter.

After years of following the developments on Reprap and dreaming of building my own machine, I settled with buying a kit from this fine seller. I went for the ANET A8 with auto-leveling which was only €160, including fast shipping from Germany.
