The media monitoring service by Metronanalysis provided, uniquely for the Greek market at the time, a subject-based, continuous monitoring of all printed news and TV broadcasts.
I was lucky enough to be present during the restructuring and expansion of the project, and my tasks included the software integration to move the recording of TV programs from VHS tape format to captured digital media format, the inclusion of digitally scanned printed news items into the reporting tool-chain, the workflow automation by buiding a projects-based CMS with integrated report mailing service, and the ongoing education and support of the staff participating in the project on the new software tools.
